🍓 Creamy Strawberry Milkshake

This thick and creamy Strawberry Milkshake is a delicious combination of fresh strawberries, cold milk and creamy vanilla ice cream. It's sweet, refreshing and incredibly easy to make at home.

Finished with fluffy whipped cream, strawberry syrup, fresh strawberries and crunchy toppings, this milkshake is perfect for summer days, parties or whenever you're craving something sweet and refreshing.

Ingredients

For the Strawberry Milkshake

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled

- 1½ cups chilled full-fat milk

- 2–3 scoops vanilla ice cream

- 2–3 tablespoons sugar, depending on the sweetness of the strawberries

- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 tablespoon strawberry syrup

For the Topping

- Whipped cream

- Strawberry syrup

- 1 fresh strawberry

- 1–2 tablespoons crushed nuts

- Chocolate sprinkles

- Small strawberry pieces

Method

1. Prepare the Strawberries

Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the green tops and cut them into small pieces.

For a stronger strawberry flavour, chill the strawberries before blending.

2. Blend the Milkshake

Add the strawberries, chilled milk, vanilla ice cream, sugar, vanilla extract and strawberry syrup to a blender.

Blend until completely smooth and creamy.

Do not add too much milk at once. A thicker milkshake gives the best creamy texture.

3. Prepare the Glass

Drizzle strawberry syrup around the inside edges of a tall glass.

Pour the freshly blended strawberry milkshake into the glass.

4. Add the Toppings

Top generously with whipped cream.

Drizzle strawberry syrup over the whipped cream and allow it to naturally drip down the sides.

Add crushed nuts, chocolate sprinkles and small strawberry pieces.

Finish with one fresh strawberry on top and add a pink or colourful straw.

✨ Tips for the Perfect Thick Milkshake

- Use chilled, ripe strawberries for the best flavour.

- Full-fat milk gives a richer and creamier texture.

- Use good-quality vanilla ice cream.

- For an extra-thick milkshake, reduce the amount of milk slightly.

- Don't over-blend after adding the ice cream.

- Serve immediately for the best texture.

🍓 Serving

Serve the strawberry milkshake immediately while it is cold and creamy.

For an extra-indulgent treat, serve it with whipped cream, strawberry syrup, fresh strawberries and crunchy toppings.

🧊 Storage

Strawberry milkshake is best enjoyed immediately. If necessary, refrigerate for a short time, but the texture is best when freshly blended.

❤️ Final Thoughts

This creamy strawberry milkshake is simple, refreshing and incredibly delicious. The combination of fresh strawberries, creamy vanilla ice cream and chilled milk makes it a perfect homemade treat.
